Influenced by Keith Haring and David Hockney, the themes of Sebastian Chaumeton’s work vary from pop culture and politics to the mundane and magical.
A recent graduate from the Chelsea College of art, Sebastian Chaumeton experiments with a variety of textures and techniques. Primarily a sculptor, his large-scale wall murals are often made up of a sea of characters – some drawn from pop culture, some drawn from Chaumeton’s own imagination. “Doodling” has always been a habit for me, and it’s taken me a while to fully accept and appreciate it in its own right as art.”
