Spring Contemporary - Westbourne Grove

Maddox Gallery at Westbourne Grove is delighted to host ‘Spring Contemporary,’ our latest group exhibition featuring a variety of our most sought-after artists. It includes works from the some of world’s most prominent established artists such as Andy Warhol, David Yarrow and Banksy, as well as emerging talent that includes Bradley Theodore and Dan Baldwin.

During autumn 2016, Maddox Gallery presented ‘Under the Influence,’ the fifteenth solo show for respected British artist Dan Baldwin, and a new body of work that reflects on his last decade as an artist. He uses mixed media to merge political, religious and cultural motifs in a playful and vibrant palette, using carefully selected found objects, glazes and acrylics.

There are also a number of three dimensional artworks on show at Maddox Gallery at Westbourne Grove, including pieces by Dan Baldwin, Bran Symondson and Niclas Castello.

Bran Symondson creates contemporary art driven by his personal experiences in conflict areas, and repurposes instruments of violence into objects of beauty and peace. His works include AK-47s covered in dollar bills and candy hearts, and bullets topped with butterflies.
