Maddox Gallery is delighted to present ‘Love and Other Crimes,’ an exhibition of love-themed works by some of the world’s most successful artists including Banksy, The Connor Brothers, Damien Hirst, Harland Miller, Mr Brainwash, Robert Indiana, Tracey Emin and more.

Coinciding with Valentine’s Day, ‘Love and Other Crimes’ celebrates the raw vibrancy of humanity’s most powerful emotion. Expressed through a variety of different mediums, from painting to prints to sculpture, the exhibition will comprise of over forty arresting works, including Banksy’s infamous ‘Girl with Balloon,’ Tracey Emin’s ‘Wanting You’ and Robert Indiana’s ‘Four Panel Love.’
Presented at the gallery’s flagship Mayfair townhouse on Maddox Street, the exhibition is a nuanced meditation on the theme of love and all it signifies, interpreted by some of the world’s greatest artists. Drawing attention to the sentiment and symbolism of the word ‘love,’ the abstract conventions of romance, and the impact of cultural icons, from Mickey and Minnie Mouse to Charlie Chaplin, the exhibition details our complex relationship with love, both in an historical sense and also a personal one.
