THE MADDOX STORY
Maddox’s flagship gallery opened in 2015 in the heart of Mayfair with a 350 sq. metre space on Maddox Street, giving the gallery its name. Expanding within Mayfair, in 2016 Maddox opened a 110 sq. metre gallery in the infamous Shepherd Market. Located in Notting Hill, in 2017 Maddox opened a new 300 sq. metre gallery in Westbourne Grove. With wrap-around windows, the abundance of light changed the way artists create and exhibit work in this space.
In 2017 Maddox ventured into Switzerland and opened in the alpine village, Gstaad. The 180 sq. metre gallery located on the historic promenade has proved to be influential in the growing gallery scene in the area.
In 2023 Maddox opened its doors on Berkeley Street, its new flagship gallery in the heart of Mayfair. Based across three floors the gallery is proud to be exhibiting works of up and coming emerging artists alongside blue-chip works by artists such as: Basquiat, Warhol, Kusama, Banksy, Damien Hirst and other prominent 20th and 21st century giants.
