Shepard Fairey Available Works

Shepard Fairey (American, b. 1970) is one of the most culturally influential street artists in history — the creator of the OBEY Giant campaign, which has been one of the most widely distributed works of public art of the past three decades, and of the Barack Obama Hope poster, which became an iconic image of the 2008 presidential election and a defining artwork of the early twenty-first century. Fairey's practice combines the visual language of political propaganda, Socialist Realist poster design and underground graphic culture to create works that operate simultaneously in the street and in the gallery with equal force.
