"I shot Pierce at his London home. It happened to be my birthday when I shot Pierce, so I was already in an excitable mood. When I arrived Pierce’s son was playing with a model aeroplane and Pierce was explaining the annunciation of ‘Fokker’. Needless to say this kept me quietly amused while setting my equipment up".
