This December, Maddox Gallery is delighted to be making its debut appearance at Art Miami, bringing stunning contemporary artworks from London to a new US audience, and look forward to meeting visitors at booth No. A228.
Maddox Gallery is at the forefront of the contemporary and modern art scene in London, with a reputation for exhibiting exclusive art from internationally acclaimed and emerging artists. The flagship Maddox Street gallery is a four floor Victorian townhouse based in the heart of Mayfair, and two other galleries are located in Mayfair and Notting Hill.
Works by a selection of talented emerging artists have been carefully curated from our three London-based contemporary art galleries. Works will be displayed represented by Maddox Gallery.
“We are delighted to be making our debut at this year’s Art Miami,” explains James Nicholls, Managing Director and Curator, Maddox Gallery. “I hope that visitors enjoy our booth, where they will find a carefully curated selection of art from our three London-based galleries.”
The Maddox Gallery booth includes new artwork from The Connor Brothers, who will also be in attendance. Their artwork has been sold alongside Banksy and Damien Hirst at Christie’s and Bonham’s, and they will debut previously unseen oil paintings at Art Miami.
New York based artist Bradley Theodore will also be in attendance with us, exhibiting new artwork. Dubbed ‘The A list’s favourite artist’ by ES Magazine and ‘Banksy meets Basquiat’ by Vogue’s influential Suzy Menkes, his vibrant Dia de los Muertos skull paintings are now widely collected all over the world.
Other works on show include new pieces by standout LA based graffiti artist RETNA, sourced from his successful solo show MARGRAVES at Maddox Gallery, Mayfair, earlier this year. A new and previously unseen artwork will also be on show from Michael Moebius, whose famous bubblegum portraits of pop icons have graced the cover of the Robb Report and other titles.
Also on show will be the engrossing photography of David Yarrow, the world’s leading fine art photographer with a world-class reputation for capturing the planet’s most remote landscapes, cultures and endangered animals.
