We are delighted to share news of our London expansion with the opening of Maddox at 12 Berkeley Street. Representing a new era for Maddox, the impressive new gallery which spans over 5,000 sq ft gallery, spread over three floors, is prominently situated in the heart of Mayfair.
Launching an exciting calendar of events at Maddox Berkeley Street, the gallery will open its doors on 26th October with ‘Storytelling’, a solo exhibition devoted to the internationally renowned photographer David Yarrow. A master of storytelling on a grand scale, whether he is channeling the magic and brilliance of the big screen to tell his own cinematic stories or shooting wild beasts in their natural habitats, this blockbuster show will reveal the fascinating narratives behind Yarrow’s latest body of work.
Among more than 30 works on show, three new David Yarrow images will be making their debut at Maddox Berkeley Street, inspired by the quintessential English productions Oliver Twist and Peaky Blinders. Love letters to London of yesteryear, they recall the Roaring Twenties in the UK, with British supermodels Cara Delevingne and David Gandy playing starring roles.
“Our newest address since the opening of our Shepherd Market gallery more than five years ago, the gallery’s prestigious W1 location further establishes us as a market leader in the art world,” says John Russo, Group Chief Executive Officer. “We are excited to celebrate this next chapter at Maddox with our clients.”
