Black Panther

"Black Panther is a new cult superhero with the movie breaking box office records on its opening weekend ($207m), and so I wanted to take a picture of a panther that did both the animal and the superhero justice. Two key elements of the preconception were a focus on the panther's eyes and a ground-up perspective, which meant controls, predictive analysis and considerable distance between me and my camera.


After a difficult process with many failed shots with low light and marginal depth of field, we finally came home with just one final photograph, but that is all we will need".
