"With most of my photographs I try to work against the light as much as possible. I never shoot directly into the sun, only about 45 degrees to either side of it. With a rare black leopard like this, there is no point to waste time on even considering the light source. One simply hopes to capture something within the limited amount of seconds available. On this occasion, the light happened to be almost exactly at that 45 degrees".
