Maddox Gallery is proud to present a new exhibition, open to the public from 20th December: ‘Morpheus’.

Monsters, creatures and other-worldly beings – they are all around us in our everyday. Often, they are portrayed in a negative light, with unattractive and undesirable connotations. From politicians to movie villains, they are aliens in our world. However, if you dare look from another angle, you can view them in a novel manner as dreams filled with your wildest fantasies. Morpheus, after all, is the mythological Greek god of sleep and dreams.

In this group show, the artists present lively and childlike illusions filled with playful, animal-like beings and creatures, inviting the viewer to explore their fears and set their imagination free.
