"In this limited edition print, I revisit the snow-capped mountains that my work has become increasingly celebrated for.

Spending time in the mountains requires a dance between nature’s grandeur and life’s simplest pleasures. It is restorative and awe-inspiring in equal measure. The snow crunches softly beneath your boots as the morning sun spills over endless white slopes. All around, the peaks rise in majestic stillness, their summits piercing a winter sky. The air is crisp and clean, carrying the laughter, conversation, and the gentle rhythm of skis gliding over snow.

Here, one pauses at a familiar slope-side bar. The scent of mulled wine drifts through the air, wrapping around you with warmth as you sink into a deckchair and raise a glass of something sparkling – a quiet toast to the beauty before you.

This limited edition of just 30 prints depicts two deckchairs facing one another upon crumpled snow at a mountain top location, inviting a moment of stillness and reflection. The view stretches off into the distance and there is a serenity to the scene. Each work is created using silkscreen and giclée printing, finished with silver snow embellishments and hand-applied 24 carat gold to the skis and poles – small gestures that capture the fleeting shimmer of light as it dances across the mountainside." – Will Martyr
