About Zhou Song

Zhou Song is an acclaimed contemporary artist known for his hyperrealist paintings and conceptual installations exploring the intersection between nature, technology, and the human condition. A graduate of the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts (2006), Zhou lives and works in Beijing. His practice investigates the boundaries between the artificial and the organic, addressing how scientific progress, artificial intelligence, and cultural transformation reshape contemporary life.

Zhou’s recent solo exhibitions include the Aurora Museum, Shanghai (2025); Powerlong Art Museum, Shanghai (2024); Osthaus Museum Hagen, Germany (2023); Kunstraum Villa Friede, Bonn (2023); Guardian Art Center, Beijing (2022); How Art Museum, Shanghai (2022); and Today Art Museum, Beijing (2009). He has participated in major international group shows and biennials, including the 59th Venice Biennale parallel exhibitiomn (Personal Structures), NordArt, Art Macao, and the Havana Biennial.

Recipient of the Lorenzo International Installation Art Award at the 11th Florence Biennale (2017), Zhou’s works are held in prestigious collections such as Osthaus Museum Hagen, Benetton Foundation, Harvard University CAMLab, Powerlong Art Museum, and Today Art Museum, among others.
